Williamsport-Based Tech Firm Rebrands to Reflect Evolution from IT Company to Creative Agency
Williamsport, PA — March 17, 2026 — After 16 years in business, Xtego Networks announced today that it is rebranding to Xtego Creative, a name change that reflects the company's expanded focus on web design and digital marketing while maintaining its IT services division.
Founded in 2009 by Curtis Steinbacher, Xtego began as a technology company that built websites on the side. Over the past decade and a half, that equation flipped: today, the majority of Xtego's work centers on website design, digital marketing, and creative services—while still maintaining the IT infrastructure and support capabilities that helped establish the company.
“The name change isn't about becoming something different,” said Steinbacher, founder of Xtego Creative. “It's an alignment with reality. We've been a creative agency at heart for years. The word ‘Networks’ just didn't fit anymore.”
The rebrand includes an updated visual identity and a new website launching this week at xtego.com. The company will continue operating its IT division, ensuring existing business technology clients experience no disruption to service.
